The University of South Dakota, Psychology Department seeks candidates for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor within its APA accredited Ph.D. Program in Clinical Psychology to begin Fall 2023. The University seeks faculty skilled in the scholarship of teaching and the discovery, application, and integration of knowledge. Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to lead an active research program, teach graduate and undergraduate courses, mentor student research, and supervise clinical training. This position will include the direct training and supervision of graduate students in an APA accredited Health Service Psychology Program. All areas of research expertise will be considered. Teaching assignments will include graduate coursework in personality and cognitive assessment, undergraduate and graduate personality theory. Applicants with an interest in rural mental health or disaster psychology are particularly encouraged to apply. Qualifications: Ph.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program, completion of an APA-accredited internship, and readiness for licensure (post-doctoral supervision may be provided). Salary/Compensation: This is a 9-month position, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
