The Department of Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position (#120250) at the rank of assistant/associate professor in Clinical Psychology. The start date for the position is August 1, 2023. The position is contingent upon funding. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise theses and capstone projects, and develop a research program based on their area of interest. The courses the successful candidate is expected to teach may include psychopathology, theories of personality, issues and ethics in mental health services, and theories of counseling/psychotherapy. Required Education A terminal degree in clinical psychology or other health services psychology field from an APA-accredited training program that includes an APA-accredited internship is required. Other Desirables Candidates eligible for licensure in Tennessee as a psychologist with the health service provider designation will receive special consideration.
