The Department of Psychology & Neuroscience at Temple University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track instructional faculty position beginning fall 2023 for in-person instruction. The initial contract is for one year, with the potential for contract renewal contingent upon performance and programmatic needs. Note that instructional faculty are eligible for promotion along a non-tenure track, however, this does not include tenure or promotion to a tenure-track position. The position requires an earned Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology or a closely related field, along with evidence of successful prior teaching. Responsibilities include the teaching of four undergraduate psychology courses for each of two semesters per year. The successful candidate should be capable of teaching courses such as cognitive neuroscience and cognitive psychology, as well as courses on core topics such as research methods, statistics, and critical thinking in psychology.
