The Department of Psychology at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) invites applications from researchers with a background in cognitive psychology and aging at the tenure-track Assistant Professor level. This position supports ongoing university and college-level initiatives in brain health and health disparities. Expertise in advanced quantitative and/or human neuroscience methods is desirable, but not required. The successful applicant will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in this area (e.g., cognitive psychology, cognitive aging), to teach other courses appropriate to their expertise, direct masters and doctoral students, maintain a successful research program, and secure extramural funding. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field; a record of publications, teaching, and mentoring commensurate with rank; and a commitment to inclusion and diversity.
