Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) Department of Psychology University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign The Department of Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Clinical-Community Psychology with an emphasis on Community and Ecological approaches to understanding and addressing health equity. We are particularly interested in candidates who examine how settings, organizations, and systems relate to disparities in health for individuals from historically marginalized groups. Areas of content specialization are open. Candidates may be preferred who focus on areas such as systems science, systems change, implementation science, organizational development, community-based intervention, community-based and participatory methods, the science of social settings, early identification and prevention, and culturally-informed intervention; all with a connection to health and health equity. We are interested in candidates showing evidence of methodological innovation. Candidates should show evidence of research productivity, teaching and mentorship effectiveness, and potential for external funding. The ability to provide applied community-based experiences for undergraduate and graduates students is preferred. A PhD in Psychology or other disciplines broadly related to Clinical, Community, or Ecological Psychology is required by mid-June for a preferred start date of August 16, 2023. The target start date is August 16, 2023, but is negotiable. Salary is commensurate with rank and qualifications.
