We seek scholar-practitioners who are at least 3 years post PhD in psychology who have graduate level teaching experience, supervised doctoral dissertations, and/or a record of research publications, and are licensed (or license eligible) to practice psychology. Faculty members supervise doctoral dissertations, teach course seminars that mix virtual and face-to-face interactions, and, each year, offer in-person seminars at two–three 7-10 day long residential events. Faculty members also conduct monthly, local, in-person meetings with students and serve as their advisor. Candidates who wish to be considered for this faculty position must live in or near or be willing to travel monthly to the Santa Barbara area. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach psychological assessment, psychometric theory, biopsychology, cognitive-behavioral theory, or have expertise in forensic psychology. We are particularly interested in applicants with successful experience in teaching, research, and/or clinical work with individuals from marginalized groups.
