Steinhardt seeks a candidate who is deeply knowledgeable and experienced with undergraduate and masters' level teaching as well as clinical supervision to assume administrative responsibilities and leadership for the Undergraduate Programs, including a newly created BA/MA Mental Health and Well Being Counseling program. This is a key role within the Applied Psychology department and school and involves interactions and leadership regarding the innovation and evaluation of the academic and curricular issues of the three majors, one minor, and the BA/MA program. Another aspect of this role is to oversee student well‐being and social climate, lead and facilitate recruitment and yield events, as well as be a contact person for alumni affairs. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate, masters and doctoral level classes. Cross-cultural perspectives on teaching are particularly desirable. Opportunities for scholarly engagement is also encouraged. Qualifications: An earned doctoral degree in psychology, preferably in School, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program, as well as a completed internship. New York State licensure or license eligible status is desirable. A position at the mid-level Clinical Assistant or above may be considered with commensurate experience.
