The University of New Brunswick (UNB), Department of Psychology, Fredericton invites applications for a tenure-track position in Applied Behaviour Analysis at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor effective July 1, 2022. The individual must have a Ph.D in Psychology with a strong background in Applied Behaviour Analysis or a Ph.D. in Applied Behaviour Analysis with a strong background in psychology; certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the time of appointment; experience in the areas of autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and/or behaviour assessment and treatment of severe problem behaviour; and Virtual Course Sequence instructor eligibility through the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) by the time of appointment, experience and teaching in the area of organizational behaviour management, a record of service and leadership to community and/or professional organizations, and a history of student supervision would be an asset. Responsibilities will include co-ordinating the Verified Course Sequence of our Applied Behaviour Analysis Certificate Program for BCaBA certification, directing the program, developing new courses (as needed), teaching at the undergraduate level (with a particular emphasis on courses in the Certificate Program), and developing and overseeing a Masters-level program for BCBA certification. The Department of Psychology in Fredericton has BA and BSc majors and honours programs as well as MA/PhD programs in Clinical Psychology (CPA accredited) and Experimental Psychology.
