The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) invites applications to fill the Frank J. Kobler Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology starting in academic year 2022-2023. The department seeks applicants in Clinical/Community Psychology who employ community participatory research methods to understand and promote health/mental health equity and/or address contexts that contribute to disparities (e.g., poverty, inequality, discrimination, oppression). This may include community partnered approaches to understanding community needs, developing community-driven solutions, designing prevention approaches, translating basic research into evidenced-based community interventions, and/or informing and advocating for policy that addresses racial inequality. The department currently has more than 25 tenured or tenure-track faculty, serves 1,800 undergraduate psychology majors plus more than 600 neuroscience majors, and has three PhD programs (Developmental, Clinical, and Social).
