West Liberty University invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position in the area of clinical psychology to begin in August 2022. Candidates for the position must be licensed or license eligible as psychologists in WV. A doctorate in psychology is preferred; Master’s level and ABD candidates will be considered. Licensed professional counselors (LPC) are not eligible for this position. Candidates should possess the credentials and experience to teach a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses such as: Clinical Psychology, Personality Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Cultural Psychology, Psychopathology and Diagnosis, Psychological Assessment (Child/Adult), and Individual Psychotherapy & Treatment planning. Prior graduate student clinical supervisory experience in practicum &/or internship is preferred. The ability to teach a wide range of courses will be an asset. Candidates will be expected to teach (typically a 4/4 load), mentor and advise students, provide service to the department, college, University, community, and engage in ongoing professional development activities. Rank and salary will be based on the education and experiences of the successful candidate.
