Competitive candidates will have a Ph.D. in I-O psychology, a strong research record, and evidence of, or potential for, teaching and mentoring excellence. The specific area of research interest is open, although teaching interests in Motivation, Organizational Theory, Organizational Consulting, or quantitative methods are desired. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a highly productive research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in I-O psychology and quantitative methods, and direct graduate student research. DePaul's I-O Psychology Program has a tradition of excellence in research, teaching, and professional service to the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. There are currently four IO faculty members with a wide range of research interests. The Psychology Department is located at DePaul's main (Lincoln Park) campus in the city of Chicago, which provides the opportunity for collaborative research with a wide range of organizations. In addition to our research-focused doctoral program, we have a combined BA/MS program in I-O and an undergraduate I-O concentration.
